Recipe Consulting
This service is dedicated to the study, formulation and development of customised beverages, allowing customers to create, test and perfect their product while ensuring stability, structure and final quality.
The service also includes verification of compatibility with production processes and packaging, analysis of raw material costs and assessment of risks and commercial feasibility.
1. Recipe development
Recipe development involves defining the characteristics of the beverage and determining the ingredients based on a preliminary questionnaire.
It also includes assessing the compatibility of the beverage with the chosen production techniques and packaging, evaluating costs based on raw materials, and managing the risks involved in marketing the product.
2. Sampling & tasting
After defining the recipe and sourcing the raw materials, glass samples will be produced with characteristics similar to those of industrial production. Once packaged, the samples will be delivered to the customer or evaluated on site through a shared tasting table to taste the product and define any adjustments to its composition.
3. Shelf life & compatibility tests
Once tasting has been completed and the final formulation approved, two different tests will be carried out: one to determine the compatibility of the liquid with the chosen packaging and the production process (if necessary), and another to assess the shelf life (i.e. the evolution of the packaged drink over time) according to the customer’s requirements and the characteristics of the product itself.
4. Output
Once all the above steps have been completed, the customer will be provided with the following documentation:
• final report on the consulting service
• recipe sheet for the finished product
• list of ingredients (in accordance with current regulations)
• nutritional analysis for the UK
• shelf life test
• compatibility test
